William Meltzer, M.D.

 

Dr. William Meltzer is an active Team Consultant for the Chicago Bulls Professional Basketball Team and formerly for the Chicago White Sox Professional Baseball Team. Dr. Meltzer is a Consultant to the Center for Handicapped Children, Division of Services for Crippled Children and Orthopedic Consultant, Cerebral Palsy Clinic.

He received his B.S. Degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and his M.D. Degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. He did his internship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago, and a fellowship in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Downey, CA.

He is certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

He served as Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, and as Associate Chairman in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center.
