I'm back from my status meeting. Reports indicate we are already seeing Ug99 in the Sudan and Yemen, scientists believe that its spread to India and Pakistan is inevitable. This news really renewed the urgency I feel for this project. We need a solution and we need to start working on it now.

I've attached three proposals for your consideration. You'll notice that they don't give much background on Ug99, but instead get to the heart of what they'd like to use our money for!

To make sure you are up to speed on this problem and to help you get organized, here's what I would like you to do:

• Review the Project Summaries of the proposals. Get sense for the solution each proposal is suggesting.
  
  
• Gather some background information on Ug99 and make sure you understand the problem.
  
  
• Create an outline for your final report.
