Your Tasks
 

In your role as a one of a team of scientists working for the billionaire, Bill E. Clark, you work through a sequence of tasks that ultimately leads you to a final recommendation to Mr. Clark regarding the potential of modifying the earthworm to improve the earth's soils. Your tasks, which you can access using the left menu, are:

  1. Develop Questions to Research: Work within your team to come up with basic questions that will guide your research and help you make a final recommendation.

  2. Preliminary Research: Begin to research features of the worm on your own, then come back together as a team to determine which specific features you will consider modifying.

  3. Main Research: Work individually to investigate the features you have selected in more detail.

  1. Team Meeting and Thesis Development: Come back together as a team to report back on what you have found and then summarize your conclusions in a thesis statement.

  2. Presentation Development: Work as a team to create and practice your presentation.

  3. Presentation and Wrap-up: Present to Dr. Matthews and your peers, giving and receiving feedback and then participating in a final discussion about your recommendations.
