In this rotation you assume the role of an epidemiologist. The National Disease Control Center has requested your assistance to investigate a possible outbreak of coccidioidomycosis. Your tasks involve gathering data from various sources and analyzing the data to identify the source of the outbreak and to recommend steps to help prevent future exposures.
You will also be a member of a Statistics Group at the NDCC, charged with answering questions from others within the NDCC. The chair of the committee will instruct you further when she is ready to enlist your help.
Look through the Introduction menu options (on the left) for a more thorough description of what this rotation is about. When you are ready to begin, select Task 2.1: Start Outbreak Investigation to begin the rotation.
