It’s time to turn the research you’ve done on the scientific and ethical issues surrounding the genetic modification of crops into your presentation. Use the outline and presentation proposal you developed with your team to put the presentation together. Make sure to cover the questions the committee sent on the subject to help the Q&A go smoothly afterwards.
You’ll want to be sure to be prepared for the committees questions. Review the file I sent you earlier on the members to prepare for likely questions members of the committee may bring up based on their current positions.
As before, when you complete your presentation I’ll have you do a run-through of the presentation with me so you have a chance to identify any rough spots. Expect me to challenge you again as preparation for presenting to the committee later; you’ll need to think on your feet and be ready to answer questions. Afterwards you’ll need to take care of any revisions to the presentation to points that are identified at the run-through. Send me a status report of your team's progress as well.
