For this case, you will play the role of a medical resident, who, rather than working in a particular medical specialty, will instead follow one particular patient's case as it progresses. When you begin your work, you will learn about your patient, who is gravely ill. At this stage, you will explore critical issues related to end of life decisions.

Sadly, you will lose your patient. Your work will continue at the County Medical Examiner's office, working with a new attending physician, in an attempt to determine your patient's cause of death. You will prioritize various possible diagnoses, and then practice key autopsy and diagnostic testing procedures to help you determine what, ultimately, killed your patient. You will write your findings in a detailed Autopsy Report, which will evolve through your investigation.
