What are eosinophils?
Eosinophils are white blood cells, and an elevated count is associated with allergies and some parasitic infections. With the neutrophil and basophil, they form the class of polymorphonuclear cells (PMNs). Eosinophils are tested as part of a white blood cell (WBC) count.
