William’s test results are back. Based on your input and our experience with other patients like William, Dr. Shah and I ordered an x-ray of William’s hip. Dr. Shah and I want you to interpret the test results, revise your differential based on those test results, and then suggest which of the diagnoses on your differential is most likely. Essentially, you must answer the question “What is causing William’s hip pain?” If you feel that we cannot yet make a diagnosis with enough confidence without ordering additional tests, then indicate that in your interpretation. We can then determine if we should order additional tests before moving forward with treatment.
The diagnosis you determine will dictate William’s treatment.
